COURSE OUTLINE

Who Should Enrol Into This Qualification?

This course is customised for employees working in the tyre fitting sector. Employees will achieve competencies in automotive tyre fitting, safe work practices, environmental regulations, communication and working with others.

Delivery Methods

  • Distance – preferably online otherwise with workbooks
  • Students to complete reading and required work either via the online portal or with their workbook
  • Students will complete project work and withdrawal log if they are trainees
  • Trainer will have monthly contact with the student and the workplace supervisor if the student is a trainee
  • Trainer will assess on site, provide tasks and time frames to be completed, provide support and assistance, and follow up on progress between visits
  • Classroom – as above however the reading / workbook will be completed in class

Qualification Rules

23 units of competence at levels 2, 3 or 4 are required to achieve this qualification.

  • 2 compulsory units
  • 11 units of competence constituting a recognised Certificate II outcome
  • 7 units of competence at level 3 or 4 from any Retail Service and Repair inventory
  • 3 units of competence from the Automotive Retail, Service and Repair
