COURSE OUTLINE

Who Should Enrol Into This Qualification?

Mint Training delivers Certificate III in Retail to students/employees so they become the very best at delivering customer service. Excellent customer service means satisfied customers, increased sales and more return to businesses.

The key topics covered in this course include:

  • Store merchandising
  • Product advice
  • Customer relations
  • Reinforcement of in-house business practices
  • National Occupational Health & Safety Standards
  • Store safety and security

The course is aimed at anyone in a frontline customer relations role in a retail environment including:

  • Sales assistants
  • Shop front cashiers.
  • Customer relations staff

Delivery Methods

  • Distance – preferably online or with workbooks
  • Students to complete reading and required work either via the online portal or with their workbook
  • Students complete project work and withdrawal log if they are trainees
  • Trainer will have monthly contact with the student and the workplace supervisor if the student is a trainee
  • Trainer can assess on site, provide tasks and time frames to be completed, provide support and assistance, and follow up on progress between visits
  • Classroom – as above however the reading / workbook will be completed in class

Qualification Rules

To achieve a Certificate III in Retail, 10 units must be completed:
