COURSE OUTLINE

Who Should Enrol Into This Qualification?

Mint Training delivers the Certificate III in Warehousing Operations to employees who are working in warehouses and distribution centres.

It provides students/employees with the skills required to:

  • Receive, handle and dispatch goods, pick and pack orders
  • Use inventory systems
  • Organise receivables and dispatch

Students/employees will learn how to organise and plan for stock-takes, handle dangerous goods and recognise and address workplace hazards.

This course is aimed at people employed as:

  • Warehouse persons
  • Receiving and dispatch clerk
  • Distribution clerks

Delivery Methods

  • Distance – preferably online otherwise with workbooks
  • Students to complete reading and required work either via the online portal or with their workbook
  • Students will complete project work and withdrawal log if they are trainees
  • Trainer will have monthly contact with the student and the workplace supervisor if the student is a trainee
  • Trainer will assess on site, provide tasks and time frames to be completed, provide support and assistance, and follow up on progress between visits
  • Classroom – as above however the reading / workbook will be completed in class

Qualification Rules

To achieve a Certificate III in Warehousing Operations, 18 units must be completed:

  • 2 core units
  • 16 elective units
