Who Should Enrol Into This Qualification?

The Diploma of Management is designed to support individuals who are leading and managing teams. Management is the art of leading a group of people to reach or achieve a common goal.

The best managers motivate and support their teams. Good managers help their teams work in a fast changing economy and model workplace behaviours that bring profit to their organisation.

The Diploma of Management covers:

• Planning strategically
• Setting objectives
• Controlling finances
• Developing efficient operations
• Managing the market
• Developing information systems
• Understanding human resource management.

The training is aimed at:

• Team leaders
• Supervisors
• Managers

Delivery Methods

• Distance – preferably online otherwise with workbooks
• Students to complete reading and required work either via the online portal or with their workbook
• Students complete project work and withdrawal log
• Trainer will have monthly contact with the student and the workplace supervisor
• Trainer can assess on site, provide tasks and time frames to be completed, provide support and assistance, and follow up on progress between visits
• Classroom – as above however the reading / workbook will be completed in class

Qualification Rules

To achieve a Diploma in Management 8 units must be completed.
